The Alien 300C can be mounted on lightweight stands with the separate Control Unit kept low for easy access to the controls. Alien 300C can also be controlled via CRMX LumenRadio, Bluetooth, 2.4G, and DMX/RDM. Useful accessories are included, like an eggcrate grid, diffusions, stand clamp, rain cover for the Control Unit, and a case. When you turn it up to 100%, Alien 300C outputs a formidable 28630 lux (2659 fc) @1M 5600K, but it can also be quickly dimmed in fine 0.1% increments. The included padded carrying case provides protection, but doesn't weigh you down. The panel comes out of the case with the softbox already installed, and you pop it open by releasing a couple of stretch bands. It's fully assembled in no time. The yoke provides 360° of rotation with a single-sided stepless lock, and metal barndoors are available separately with the part number BD-AL300. Even though Alien 300C kicks out plenty of brightness, it's only 3.9" (10cm) at the thickest point, so it's useful even when space is tight.

Ready For Weather
The Alien 300C panel is protected with an IP55 water-resistance, and a transparent rain cover is provided to shield both the Control Unit and V-Mount batteries (batteries sold separately), so you can travel far from home and shoot in the elements.

Power Versatility
Alien 300C runs on a single 14.4-14.8V V-Mount battery with 45% max output, or a single 26-28V V-Mount battery with 75% max output. With two of either kind of battery it runs at 100%, or you can use a mix of these batteries and run at 100%. With two 26V 270Wh batteries Alien 300C runs for 1hr 20mins at 100% brightness.

Fast Workflow
Pressing a knob lets you hyperspace to common CCTs: 2700K, 3200K, 4300K, 5600K, etc., pressing another dims to 0%, pressing again brings you back. It has Max and Constant output modes, fan-off and smart-fan modes, and presets. A USB allows new features to be added with firmware updates, and can power DMX receivers (sold separately).
